Bob entered the field of public accounting after graduation from Western Washington State College (now Western Washington University) in 1968. During the following eight years he worked for Moss Adams & Associates as a Senior Accountant and Von Harten & Co as a partner. Bob started the firm McCorkle & Associates in 1975 in the City of Renton, Washington. He is lifetime member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Sue is married to Bob McCorkle and joined McCorkle & Associates in 1990. She has experience in tax preparation for individuals and non-profit organizations, bookkeeping and payroll services. Sue works closely with clients on QuickBooks problem solving and training. Sue graduated in 1973 from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor Board Member, Renton Kiwanis Clothes Bank.

Steven joined McCorkle & Associates PS in May 2018. Steven's work emphasizes in tax consulting for individuals and families, as well as estate and trust matters and wealth transfer planning. He brings 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing and taxation. Prior to joining McCorkle & Associates, PS, Steve spent 10 years with the auditing and taxation practice at a national public accounting firm in Seattle and Bellevue where he focused primarily on assurance services for privately held entities and not for profit organizations. Steven's initial experience at a national accounting firm provided him with practical insight and expertise in accounting and auditing best practices, financial processes and procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting. Steven graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance degree from the Central Washington University. He is affiliated with the AICPA and Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. In his spare time, Steve and his wife with two boys are usually hiking with their dog and spending time outdoors whether it be in the mountains or on the water.

Prior to joining McCorkle & Associates in January 2014, Lisa performed bookkeeping, payroll and excise tax preparation, and administrative duties for numerous corporations. Lisa processes tax returns, assists with administrative projects, posts general ledgers, prepares financial statements, payroll and excise tax reports.

Martha joined McCorkle & Associates in May, 2000 as a receptioninst. After 2 years, she advanced into a position as a staff accountant. She is involved in posting general ledgers, preparation of financial statements, performing of bookkeeping and payroll services, and preparation of excise taxes. Martha is fluent in English and Spanish.

Laura joined McCorkle & Associates in January 2018 after moving to Renton, WA from Zanesville, OH. She is responsible for routing incoming phones calls, processing tax returns, and assisting with administrative projects. She is also involved in posting of general ledgers, general accounting, the preparation of financial statements, payroll, and excise tax reports. Laura has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Ohio University (Athens, OH) and a Masters degree in Business Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Mount Vernon, OH). In her spare time, Laura enjoys being outdoors, going to the lake, sports (Pittsburgh football, hockey and baseball), traveling, and experiencing new places.
